General Description The Environmental Professional Level 2 is a fully qualified professional who applies theoretical and practical knowledge to provide environmental management services to successfully complete BC Hydro projects of medium to high complexity safely, with quality, within budget, and on time.

Responsibilities Work Assignment Requirements Manage environmental contractors and associated procurement & contract administration tasks within the systems and processes.

Coordinate responses to First Nations and senior regulatory agency representatives on environment topics.

Assist in mitigation development and planning.

Manage scope, schedule and cost progression for the work package.

Assist in the interpretation of environmental regulations in the context of the project activities and works.

Coordinate workplace constraints analysis of project designs and plans.

This task has a substantial emphasis on biophysical topics in a greenfield setting.

Travel to project area (Prince George to Terrace corridor) for meetings, field tours and workshops.

Provide input and support to the project team on environment topics using proactive and ''as required'' tasks.

Qualifications Must haves:



Large capital construction project experience.

Experience managing contractors and contracts. BC work experience is required.

Eligible for membership in professional association such as RP Bio, P.

Geo., PMP, P.

Eng. or equivalent Nice to haves: Experience working with First Nation Groups.
