In the HCA role, you will work under a Licensed Practical Nurse, assisting residents with bathing, feeding, and mobility. Your responsibilities will include promoting comfort and well-being through meticulous care practices. This position requires effective communication, manual assistance, and adherence to safety protocols.

Key Responsibilities:
• Assist residents with personal care and bathing needs
• Transfer residents using appropriate safety equipment
• Feed residents based on individualized care plans
• Support mobility and assist with dining experiences
• Accompany residents to social and therapy activities

Requirements:
• One year of experience in a care setting preferred
• Completion of Personal Care Aide Certificate
• Active registration with CLHA
• Fluent in English, both oral and written
• Post-secondary education is an asset
