Accommodation Assistant Opportunity at the 4* Bracken Court Hotel, Balbriggan, Co. Dublin.
The Bracken Court Hotel is part of the Moriarty Group, which is an Irish owned company, involved in both the retail grocery and hotel industries. The company owns three large Super Valu, Stores in Balbriggan, Skerries and Palmerstown and two 4* hotels, the Courtyard Hotel, Leixlip, Co. Kildare and the Bracken Court Hotel in Balbriggan, Co. Dublin. The company currently employees 550 staff.

We are currently seeking to recruit accommodation staff for our busy housekeeping department. If you are passionate about the hospitality industry and would like to develop your career within a busy and extremely popular property, we could have an exciting opportunity for you.

The Role
We have both full-time and part-time positions available.

The full-time role will require the candidates to be available to work 39/40 hours per week, 5 days over 7 and they must be available to work mid-week and weekend day shifts.

The part time role will require the candidate to work 24-32 hours per week, 3-4 days over 7 and they must be available to work midweek and weekend day shifts.

Main Duties





Maintain agreed standards of hygiene and cleanliness in bedrooms and public areas of the hotel.

General housekeeping duties

HACCP duties

Work in conjunction with the reception team to ensure that rooms are presented as per the guests initial booking details.

Provide excellent accommodation to all guests of the hotel.

Requirements

Previous experience as an accommodation assistant would be desirable but is not essential.

Previous HACCP training would be desirable but is not essential.

Must be fluent in the English Language

Must be enthusiastic and a quick learner.

Must be able to work as part of a team and on own initiative.

Must have a keen attention to detail.

Mut be available to work midweek and weekends.

Must be available for early starts.

Must be available for some late finishes if and when required.
