Main Responsibilities Reporting to the Reliability Manager, you will play a key role in optimizing the performance of our production equipment.
As a technical expert in failure analysis, you will actively contribute to improving equipment reliability and availability while optimizing the life-cycle cost of our assets.
In this role, you will be called upon to:
Analyze equipment failures and perform root cause analyses (RCA); Develop and implement sustainable solutions to eliminate the causes of recurring failures; Train and support operations and maintenance teams in the use of analysis tools; Track and analyze key performance indicators, including MTBF, MTTR and OEE; Optimize preventive, predictive and condition-based maintenance strategies; Develop and improve maintenance plans to maximize equipment reliability and availability; Define and recommend strategies aimed at reducing the total life-cycle cost of assets; Support maintenance teams in resolving complex issues; Work closely with engineering, production and maintenance teams; Participate in audits and contribute to the continuous improvement of maintenance practices; Play an active role in the deployment of the World Class Manufacturing (WCM) program, specifically within the professional maintenance pillar.
Required Skills Excellent understanding of industrial maintenance processes; Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; Technical leadership and the ability to positively influence without direct authority; Excellent communication skills and the ability to explain technical concepts clearly; Collaborative mindset and continuous improvement approach; Autonomy,
rigour and strong sense of priorities; Bilingual English and french, spoken and written.
Education and Experience Bachelors degree in mechanical engineering, industrial engineering or a related field; Minimum of five years of experience in industrial maintenance or reliability; Hands-on experience with RCA, FMEA and TPM methodologies; Knowledge of computerized maintenance management systems; Knowledge of Intral software is an asset.
