About the Role: Restaurant Manager

Responsibilities
The Restaurant Manager at this Tim Hortons location in Stratford is accountable for a broad range of operational, financial, and people-management duties. From analyzing the restaurant budget to handling customer concerns directly, this role keeps you engaged across every aspect of the business.
Analyze and develop budgets to determine costs of food, ingredients, kitchen and cleaning supplies, and to maintain and boost restaurant profits
Monitor revenues to determine labour cost and evaluate daily operations for efficiency
Modify food preparation methods and menu prices in line with budget constraints
Plan and organize daily operations , including setting staff work schedules and assigning duties
Recruit, train, and supervise a team of 5 to 10 staff members, and conduct regular performance reviews
Balance cash and complete balance sheets, cash reports, and related financial forms
Organize and maintain inventory and cost products and services accurately
Ensure health and safety regulations are followed at all times throughout the restaurant
Negotiate with clients for catering arrangements or use of facilities as needed
Address customer complaints or concerns and provide a high standard of customer service
Requirements / Skills
The ideal candidate brings a combination of leadership experience , solid food service knowledge , and the personal attributes needed to manage a busy restaurant environment. Tim Hortons is looking for someone who is dependable, client-focused, and comfortable juggling multiple priorities at once.
Education: College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 to 2 years
Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years in a related field
Certifications required: First Aid Certificate, CPR Certificate, and Food Safety Certificate
Computer and technology skills: Proficiency with MS Access, MS Excel, MS Office, MS PowerPoint, MS Word, and point of sale systems
Security requirement: Criminal record check required
Physical capabilities: Must be comfortable in a fast-paced, physically demanding setting involving standing for extended periods and a combination of sitting, standing, and walking
Personal suitability: Accurate, organized, reliable, flexible, client-focused, with excellent oral communication and the ability to multitask effectively
Willingness to relocate to Stratford, ON if not already local
First Aid Certificate; CPR Certificate; Food Safety Certificate; criminal record check required; willing to relocate.
