Copcan Civil, a division of Norland Limited, seeks an experienced Heavy Equipment Operator to join its Kootenay operations. This position requires a minimum of five years of experience operating full-size excavators and working with pipe crews. Candidates will work collaboratively to achieve project goals while promoting safety policies and effective communication in office.

Key Responsibilities:
• Operate Excavators safely on construction sites
• Collaborate with team members for quality project outcomes
• Conduct daily equipment safety checks and inspections




• Communicate effectively with field crew at all times
• Report project progress and issues to Field Supervisors

Requirements:
• Minimum 5 years of excavator operation experience
• Ability to operate backhoe, dozer, or loader is an asset
• Experience working with various shoring types
• Valid driver's license and ability to drive in BC
• Basic computer skills, GPS experience is a plus
