Elevate patient care as a General Imaging Radiological Technologist at Nova Scotia Health. This permanent, full-time role requires expertise in radiological technology and minimal supervision.
Reporting to the Manager of Diagnostic Imaging, you will provide patient-centered care while operating advanced radiological equipment. The position requires independent judgment and effective communication in a multidisciplinary environment. Additionally, you must follow the ALARA principle to ensure safety while performing diagnostic procedures.
Key Responsibilities:
• Operate radiological equipment with minimal supervision
• Provide effective patient-centered care and support
• Maintain communication in a multidisciplinary team
• Ensure adherence to safety protocols and ALARA principles
• Travel to other sites as necessary
Requirements:
• Graduate from an accredited School of Radiological Technology
• CAMRT certification and NSCMIRTP licensure
• Experience in multiple diagnostic modalities is an asset
• Basic Life Support Certification required
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to work independently
