We are looking for a Truck and Transport Mechanic for the morning shift at our Saskatoon Terminal . The schedule is 8 days on and 6 days off , with workdays running from Wednesday to the following Thursday, excluding Sundays. Shifts are from 7:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.

Job Duties

Inspect, diagnose, repair, and service all systems and components of transport trucks and trailers to ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements

Competently use hand and power tools to carry out repairs according to manufacturer’s specifications

Read and understand work orders, task procedures, and interpret technical manuals

Write work orders and diagnose the cause of failures

Mentor and assist apprentices

Perform inspections as per the Commercial Vehicle Inspection Program, if licensed to do so

Perform all other duties as assigned by supervisor/management
