## Senior Municipal Law Enforcement Officer**Posting Number: PC****-26-37****Job Type: Permanent** **Full time, Union****Salary Range: $76,876.80 to $92,146.60 per year****Posted: Thursday, September 24, 2026****Application Deadline: Thursday, October 8, 2026 at 11:59 pm****The Opportunity**The Legislative and Court Services Department is comprised of three branches; Legislative Services (which includes Council Secretariat, Corporate Mail and Print Services, Vital Statistics and Access and Privacy Services), Court Services (which is responsible for the administration of justice within two court service areas in compliance with the Provincial Offences Act, the Memorandum of Understanding and Inter-municipal Service Agreements) and Enforcement Services which is responsible for administering and enforcing several municipal by-laws including but not limited to regulations related to the parking of vehicles, pet controls, property maintenance, business licensing, and sign placement).Under the general guidance and direction of the Supervisor of Enforcement Services, assists with the day-to-day coordination and operation of the Section, including coordinating the activities of enforcement and licensing staff. Ensures the timely and effective enforcement of municipal by-laws and applicable Provincial legislation, and assists with the review and recommendation of by-law and related set fine amendments and their implementation.
