Contribute to Brampton’s road safety as a Truck Driver II in Public Works. This onsite role requires operating equipment for road maintenance while ensuring reliable service during winter shifts.

As a Truck Driver II for Peel Region, you will perform vital duties to maintain the local road network. Responsible for transporting materials and operating various equipment, you will aid in snow removal, road inspections, and ensuring safety standards are upheld. Your role will include direct oversight of loads and collaborating with contracted equipment operations.

Key Responsibilities:
• Transport construction and maintenance equipment regularly
• Operate trucks for snow removal and de-icing activities




• Conduct road patrols to inspect and report on conditions
• Complete operational forms and reports accurately
• Assist with seasonal vehicle maintenance duties

Requirements:
• Minimum grade 12 education or equivalent
• Class “DZ” license in positive standing
• One year of job-related experience required
• Capability to perform physical duties of the role
• Training in Commercial Vehicle Operations Registrations needed
