Birch Mountain Enterprises is seeking an experienced Journeyman Parts Technician to join our Fort McKay team. This position includes a 7 on 7 off days schedule and company-paid benefits.

In this vital role reporting to the Maintenance Manager, you'll manage daily shop operations and oversee support staff in Shipping and Receiving. Key responsibilities include purchasing parts, inventory control, and negotiating with vendors to ensure operational efficiency. Candidates should possess strong leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills to thrive in this fast-paced workplace.

Key Responsibilities:
• Quote, purchase, receive, and distribute parts
• Track and control inventory levels effectively
• Negotiate prices with vendors for best availability




• Organize parts room and maintain cataloging
• Coordinate shipping and receiving operations

Requirements:
• Journeyman status as a Parts Technician preferred
• 3-5 years experience in transportation sector
• Previous supervisory experience required
• Valid driver’s license with a clean abstract
• Strong computer skills and troubleshooting abilities
