We are looking for an experienced finance leader to guide financial management across multiple business units in Kitchener- Waterloo, Ontario.

This hybrid role combines hands-on oversight of accounting activities with strategic analysis that supports operational and leadership decisions.

The successful candidate will strengthen reporting, improve financial processes, and help build a scalable finance function for a growing organization.

Responsibilities: Direct the monthly, quarterly, and year-end close cycle to ensure accurate records and timely completion across all entities.

Prepare, review, and interpret financial reports, reconciliations, and supporting documents to maintain reporting quality and consistency.

Manage core finance operations, including accounts payable, cash oversight, and related transactional activities.





Partner with senior leaders to assess business results, highlight financial risks, and identify opportunities for improved performance.

Lead, coach, and support the finance team by setting transparent priorities, accountability measures, and service expectations.

Strengthen internal control practices and governance standards to support compliance, audit readiness, and organizational growth.

Drive process enhancements by introducing automation, technology, and AI-based solutions that improve efficiency and data accuracy.

Contribute to budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow planning while aligning financial insights with operational needs across consulting and construction-focused business lines.
