Adecco is currently hiring a Delivery Assistant for a full-time opportunity supporting heating oil deliveries in New Glasgow, NS.

This role is ideal for candidates who enjoy active, hands-on work, working outdoors, and providing excellent customer service while supporting daily delivery operations.

As a Delivery Assistant, you will work alongside a driver to safely load, unload, and deliver heating oil and related products while ensuring customer satisfaction, safety compliance, and efficient operations.

Help connect and disconnect delivery equipment, hoses, and pumps as required.

Perform visual inspections of tanks, equipment, and delivery sites.

Ensure deliveries are completed safely and accurately.

Maintain cleanliness and organization of the delivery vehicle and equipment.

Assist with routine vehicle and equipment checks.

Follow all safety regulations, company policies, and environmental standards.

Communicate professionally with customers and address basic inquiries.





Complete delivery documentation and paperwork as required.

Support other operational duties as assigned.

Qualifications and Skills: Previous experience in delivery, labor, construction, warehouse, or related field is an asset Ability to work safely in varying weather conditions.

Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Reliable, punctual, and customer-focused.

Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull up to 50 lbs regularly.

Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, and climb for extended periods.

Comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions.

Ability to perform physically demanding tasks throughout the workday.
