Responsibilities Here are the responsibilities for this Dev

Ops Engineer at this Medical Technology leader in Montreal; Automated Workplace Provisioning: Design, build, and automate the creation, deployment, and on-demand reset (on/off) of 10 to 20 self-contained virtual machine (VM) demo and test environments supporting 24/7 sales and marketing operations using Terraform and Packer across Azure and Azure VMware Solution (AVS). CI/CD & Pipeline Automation: Build, maintain, and optimize robust CI/CD workflows using Git

Hub Actions and Power

Shell scripting (specifically for custom runners) to support and maintain 4 active software versions controlling automated packaging equipment.

Database Backup & Restore Integration: Integrate automated backup, initialization, and restore procedures for PostgreSQL and MySQL databases directly into automated environment deployment pipelines.

Security Tooling & Migration: Collaborate on Dev

SecOps workflows and assist in the ongoing migration of security scanning platforms from Snyk to Polaris (Synopsys / Black Duck). AI-Driven Engineering & Collaboration: Leverage daily AI tools (Git

Hub Copilot / Agent) and Git

Hub APIs to accelerate script automation, working under the guidance and architectural direction of a Staff Engineer.

Qualifications Here are the qualifications required for this Intermediate Dev

Ops Engineer at this Medical Technology leader in Montreal; Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent practical experience. 3 to 5 years of hands-on experience in Dev





Ops engineering or infrastructure automation (Intermediate level with strong autonomy).

Proven experience with Cloud infrastructure and virtualized environments: Microsoft Azure, Azure VMware Solution (AVS), and Windows Server environments.

Strong expertise in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and automated image building using Terraform and Packer.

Advanced proficiency in Git

Hub, Git

Hub Actions workflows, and Power

Shell scripting.

Practical understanding of database management (PostgreSQL and MySQL) focused on automated backup and restore workflows.

Familiarity with AI-assisted development tools (Git

Hub Copilot) and interacting with Git

Hub APIs.

Strong written and spoken English communication skills to collaborate effectively with international engineering teams (French is an asset).
