Join Kepler Communications as an FPGA Digital Design Engineering Intern and play a vital role in our mission of revolutionizing space connectivity. As part of Kepler Communications, the intern will maintain and expand our FPGA code base, design cutting-edge features, and work with various communication interfaces for our satellites. Candidates must be enrolled in an engineering program, with a full-time commitment starting January 2027. Preference is given to those who can work in our collaborative Toronto office environment. Key Responsibilities:
- Upgrade and maintain FPGA functionalities
- Design IP for new satellite features
- Support integration of sensor interfaces
- Work on high-speed interfaces like JESD204b and Ethernet Requirements:
- 2+ years of Electrical or Computer Engineering studies
- Familiarity with Verilog, SystemVerilog, or VHDL
- Currently enrolled in a Canadian undergraduate program
- Available for 4–16 months full-time
