About the Role

The Company is in search of an Executive Director to lead the management, operations, and philanthropic efforts of the organization. The successful candidate will be responsible for setting and achieving organizational goals, developing and updating annual business plans, and ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.
This role requires a leader with a passion for the company's mission, progressive experience in the non-profit sector, and a proven track record in philanthropic fundraising. The Executive Director will work closely with the Board of Directors, support strategic planning, and manage the financial viability of the organization.

Robust interpersonal skills, the ability to build and lead a cohesive team,



and a commitment to the values of the company are essential.

Key responsibilities for the Executive Director include leading fundraising and business development, overseeing financial management, and expanding national programs in Canada. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of charitable organization governance, experience in donor engagement, and the ability to create and maintain respectful, collaborative relationships.
While knowledge of Canadian and Second World War history is advantageous, it is not a requirement. The role demands a professional with a comprehensive knowledge of financial management, proficiency in technology, and the flexibility to travel and work with diverse stakeholders.

A University degree is preferred, but strong relevant work experience and training will also be considered.
