Wage Transparency: The base salary range for this position is $80,000 to $100,000. The base salary offered will be determined by factors including, but not limited to, experience, credentials, education, certifications, skill level required for the position, the scope of the position, and geographic location.

Actual base salary offered will be determined on a case-by-case basis. In addition to the base salary, this position may be eligible for performance-based incentives.

About the Role

We’re looking for an experienced Claims Liaison to develop and maintain relationships with our clients; insurers and independent adjusting firms. The successful candidate will work within a small team of dedicated claims specialists, to support NFP’s Commercial Insurance professionals by providing guidance, advocacy and customer support, to improve customer experience and overall team success.

What You’ll Do

- Provide Claims management for Key clients by providing expert end to end claim advice across multiple coverage lines
- Serve as a resource to discuss claim strategy, analyze exposures, and provide perspective on complex claim situations, limitations and coinsurance, coverage denials, or disputed settlements, providing advocacy where necessary
- Develop strategies and protocols to improve the Claims handling process
- Co-ordinate and manage relationships with third party service providers.
- Establish business relationships with claims leaders at Canadian based insurers

What You Bring

- RIBO License and (commitment to obtain licensing in other Canadian jurisdictions)
- Typically, more than 10 years of industry and product line experience in a brokerage setting working as a Senior Client Manager or dedicated claims specialist




- Experience with Commercial P&C; claims
- Cyber, Management Lines and E&O; claims settlement experience a plus
- High level of organizational skills with proven experience in managing multiple tasks and internal / external clients concurrently in a claims setting.
- Knowledge of the EPIC system is an asset
- Proficiency in coordinating and performing technical claims discussions with internal and external customers.
- Proficiency with all Microsoft Suite products including excel, outlook, word and power point.
- Bilingualism would be an asset
