**We are looking for a Manufacturing Engineering (Assembly & Test) Student to join our team!**
Raytheon ELCAN is a vertically integrated manufacturing facility, with research, design, procurement and manufacturing teams pressing novel technologies in the Aerospace & Defense Markets.

We are located in Midland, Ontario.

The Co-op student will gain experience interfacing with all facets of ELCAN's operations (Sales, Supply Chain, Design, and Manufacturing) throughout the 8-16 month placement.

Reporting to the Manager, Assembly and Test Engineering, the Student role will be responsible for drafting mechanical/electrical schematics, documentation, devising and executing validation procedures for existing and new custom optical/electrical test equipment.

Opportunities will exist for the student to gain soldering and microcontroller programming experience.

The student will gain manufacturing engineering experience working alongside other team members while supporting active projects.
**Technical Requirements**
Current enrollment in post-secondary education preferable with Electrical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering background
Preparing reports and proficient in technical writing.

Proficient user in Microsoft Office: Word, Excel, Power Point and Outlook
Proficient in creating and reading mechanical/electrical schematics
Hands on experience working with design software to create mechanical models, drawings and assembly drawings;
Autodesk Inventor experience preferred
Experience using mechanical test lab equipment to support execution of test plans
