**Quality Coordinator**
**Job Description**
The Quality Coordinator supports quality assurance and quality control activities on one of British Columbias largest infrastructure construction projects.

In this role, you work closely with project management, field supervision, engineering teams, subcontractors, and client representatives to ensure all construction work complies with project specifications, quality standards, and regulatory requirements.

**Responsibilities**
Assist in the implementation and ongoing maintenance of the Project Quality Management System (QMS).

Coordinate and track inspections, testing activities, and all related quality documentation.

Review, update, and maintain Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs), procedures, and quality records.

Monitor construction activities in the field to ensure compliance with project specifications, drawings, standards, and contract requirements.

Participate in field inspections and formal quality audits to verify adherence to quality standards.

Track non-conformance reports (NCRs) and corrective action requests, ensuring they are addressed and closed in a timely manner.

Maintain quality databases, logs, registers, and document control systems to ensure accurate and up-to-date records.

Collaborate with construction, engineering, survey, environmental, and subcontractor teams to identify and resolve quality-related issues.

Support client and third-party inspections, audits, and quality reviews by preparing documentation and participating in review sessions.

Compile quality reports, metrics, and project dashboards for management review and decision-making.

Assist with turnover documentation, project closeout packages, and preparation of as-built records.

Promote a culture of continuous improvement and quality excellence across the project team.
**Essential Skills**
Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Engineering Technology, Quality Management, or a related field.
15 years of experience in quality coordination, quality assurance, quality control, or engineering within the construction industry.

Strong understanding of quality processes, quality management systems, and documentation requirements.

Experience reviewing technical drawings, specifications, and construction documentation.

Strong organizational skills with proven experience in document control and record management.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to work effectively with multidisciplinary teams.

Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Word, Outlook, and Power

Point.

Experience using construction management software such as Procore.

Willingness to work AM and PM shifts and participate in a weekend rotation as required by the project schedule.
**Additional Skills & Qualifications**
Professional Engineer (P.

Eng) designation in Civil Engineering is an asset.





Experience on large-scale civil infrastructure or major construction projects.

Demonstrated ability to support audits and inspections with clients and third parties.

Ability to analyze quality metrics and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.

**Work Environment**
This role is based on a large infrastructure project in the Delta/Richmond area of British Columbia.

The primary schedule is a first shift from approximately 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Monday to Friday, with typical workdays of 89 hours.

The project operates multiple shifts, including a day shift from about 6:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. and a night shift currently from 4:00 p.m. to 12:00 a.m., with plans to extend to a 10-hour night shift (approximately 4:00 p.m. to 2:00 a.m.).

There is also a Saturday rotation shift approximately once per month.

You work closely with field supervision and project teams in an active construction environment, using standard office tools such as Microsoft Office and construction software like Procore while spending time both in the site office and on the construction site.
**Job Type & Location**
This is a Permanent position based out of Vancouver, BC.
**Pay and Benefits**
The pay range for this position is $35.00 - $50.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
