**About the Role**
We are seeking an experienced
**Maintenance Millwright**
to join a busy chemical manufacturing facility.

This role is responsible for preventative and corrective maintenance on rotating equipment, with a strong focus on pumps, gearboxes, bearings, and related mechanical systems.

The successful candidate will help ensure protected, reliable, and efficient plant operations.
**Key Responsibilities**
Perform maintenance and repairs on pumps, gearboxes, bearings, pillow blocks, piping, and rotating equipment.

Rebuild, install, and align industrial pumps and transfer systems.

Complete preventative maintenance activities, including inspections, lubrication, and equipment checks.

Troubleshoot mechanical failures and implement corrective actions.

Support predictive maintenance programs, including vibration analysis.

Manage work orders and maintenance records using SAP or CMMS systems.

Operate forklifts and assist with rigging and crane activities as required.

Follow all plant safety procedures, including confined space entry and PPE requirements.
**Qualifications**
Journeyman Millwright certification or equivalent maintenance experience.
5+ years of industrial maintenance experience preferred.

Strong experience with pump rebuilding, installation, and alignment.

Proven troubleshooting skills with gearboxes, bearings, and rotating equipment.

Experience using SAP or CMMS software.

Forklift experience and basic computer proficiency.

Ability to work safely in a chemical manufacturing environment.
**Preferred Assets**
Chemical plant, oil & gas, or heavy industrial maintenance experience.

Vibration analysis and predictive maintenance experience.

Rigging, crane, and zoom boom operating experience.
MIG and stick welding experience.

Strong communication and documentation skills.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of EDMONTON, AB.
**Pay and Benefits**
The pay range for this position is $46.73 - $46.73/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
