Your OpportunityOurPerform market, industry and company research; Evaluate a business' historical performance and financial projections; Understand key accounting policies and management control environments; Perform variousin-depth financial analyses on companies including analyzing and understanding the sustainability of earnings and cash flows, operating working capital requirements, quality of assets and key drivers of financial performance (revenues and margins, operating expenses, etc.); Interpret analysis and assist in the preparation of detailed buy-side and sell-side due diligence reports; Undertake smaller assignments or assist on larger assignments reporting to a manager, senior manager, or a partner; Support variousbusiness development initiatives including pitches and proposals; Communicate directly with various transaction counterparties including the client, target, potential buyers, other advisors and lenders; Contribute to the effective working of the team and development of team moral; andOccasionally support one of our other business units in a cross-functional role (e.G. Valuations, M&A;, Commercial Due Diligence, Restructuring, etc.).Our Toronto office is looking for an Associate/Senior Associate, Transaction Services to join the Deal Advisory team.
