POSITION DESCRIPTION

The Director; Primary Healthcare provides strategic leadership and oversight for LIHC's primary care services, ensuring alignment with the Community Health Centre model of care, organizational mission, strategic priorities, and funder requirements.

As the sole Director and a key member of the Senior Leadership Council, the Director oversees clinical operations for a multi-site, multi-disciplinary primary healthcare organization with an approximate $15 million annual budget; contributing to organization-wide planning, policy development,



and decision-making while maintaining accountability for clinical service quality, staff development, and fiscal responsibility.

Working closely with the Associate Executive Director and Clinical Advisor, the Director ensures effective integration of clinical services across sites, champions continuous quality improvement, and provides leadership to interdisciplinary primary care teams.

The Director represents the Health Centre externally on strategic tables related to primary care, Ontario Health Team partnerships, and health system integration.
