Brandt Corporate Services Ltd is currently seeking an Accountant for our Calgary location.
The Accountant is responsible for preparing and posting journal entries, completing month-end and year-end reconciliations, and developing internal management reports to support accurate and timely financial reporting.

What You Will Be Responsible For
- Reconciling bank accounts monthly and balancing transactions on a daily and weekly basis and resolve discrepancies
- Month-end account reconciliations
- Track and manage fixed assets, depreciation, and disposals
- Preparation and posting of journal entries, largely monthly recurring entries
- Preparation of regular internal management reporting, including sales reporting
- Analysis of certain account balances,
including recommendations related to the analysis
- Processing and review of customer refunds or rebate requests
- Ensure accuracy and completeness of month end and year-end financial records of all transactions
- Support internal and external audits by preparing schedules and documentation on a need basis
- Specific projects and other related duties as required
What We Look For
- Minimum 1-3 years of experience in a similar role
- Post Secondary Diploma in Accounting
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel
- Good problem-solving skills
- Attention to detail in all areas of work
- Good organizational, time management, and prioritization skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Able to work efficiently as part of a team as well as independently
