Biomed Recovery & Disposal Ltd. is hiring for the position of Accounts Receivable Clerk.

Position Summary The Accounts Receivable Clerk is an integral member of our accounting team, supporting the financial operations of the organization. This role is responsible for invoicing, payment processing, account reconciliation, records management, and providing exceptional service to customers regarding account inquiries and collections.

The successful candidate will be highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of working independently while contributing positively to a collaborative team environment.

Key Responsibilities

- Prepare, issue, and maintain accurate customer invoices.
- Receive, process, and apply customer payments.
- Monitor outstanding accounts and follow up on overdue balances in a professional manner.
- Reconcile accounts receivable transactions and investigate discrepancies.
- Verify financial entries and compare system reports to account balances.
- Maintain accurate electronic records of invoices, receipts, reports, and supporting documentation.
- Manage and update customer account files.
- Process receipts and maintain payment records.
- Respond to customer inquiries regarding invoices, payments, and account balances.
- Assist management and the accounting team with administrative and financial reporting duties as required.

Qualifications Required

- Minimum 2 years of experience in accounts receivable, bookkeeping, accounting,



or a related financial role.
- Experience using QuickBooks or similar accounting software.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.
- Solid understanding of basic accounting principles.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Demonstrated ability to maintain a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Ability to reliably commute to our office location on a consistent basis.

Preferred

- Accounting certificate, diploma, or related post-secondary education.
- Experience with collections and customer account management.
