Role : AI Architect

Location : Toronto, ON (Hybrid)

Role Overview:

We are looking for a senior AI Architect to design an enterprise-scale AI-powered Bordereaux (BDX) processing framework for the Insurance/MGA business.

The role will focus on using Azure, Databricks, Generative AI and Agentic AI to automate BDX data ingestion, mapping, validation, standardization and onboarding.

Must-Have Experience

- 12+ years in Data / Cloud / AI / Solution Architecture
- 5+ years of Azure & Databricks architecture experience
- 3+ years designing Generative AI / Agentic AI solutions
- Robust experience with Python, PySpark and SQL
- Enterprise-level AI/Cloud architecture
- Metadata-driven data platforms/frameworks
- RAG and AI agent architecture
- Databricks Mosaic AI and Azure AI services

Key Technologies

- AI: Azure OpenAI, Anthropic Claude, Google Gemini, LangChain/LangGraph, LlamaIndex, CrewAI/AutoGen
- Databricks: Mosaic AI, Vector Search, Delta Lake, Unity Catalog, MLflow, Lakeflow, Databricks SQL
- Azure: Azure OpenAI, AI Search, ADLS, Azure Functions, Azure DevOps, AKS

What You’ll Do

- Design reusable AI-powered BDX onboarding and processing frameworks




- Build AI agents for data mapping, validation and exception handling
- Design RAG and knowledge-retrieval solutions
- Define data, AI governance, security and compliance standards
- Lead architecture discussions, POCs and design workshops
- Work with business, underwriting, data and engineering teams
- Mentor AI/Data Engineers and Architects
- Preferred Domain Experience

Insurance experience is highly preferred, especially:

- Bordereaux (BDX) processing
- MGA / Programs / Delegated Authority
- Policy & Claims data
- Underwriting operations
- Insurance data modernization
