Responsibilities

- Asbestos removal operations, ensuring all activities adhere strictly to safety regulations and industry standards.
- Prepare and set up work sites, including the use of hand tools, power tools, and specialized equipment for asbestos abatement.
- Conduct thorough cleaning of work areas post-removal, maintaining a safe environment for team members and future occupants.
- Utilize construction experience to assist with demolition tasks or restoration work as needed, supporting project timelines.
- Operate hand tools and power tools efficiently for cutting, scraping, or dismantling materials during remediation projects.
- Implement proper handling, containment, and disposal procedures for asbestos-containing materials to prevent contamination.




- Perform routine inspections using visual assessments and technical equipment to monitor site conditions and ensure compliance.
- Collaborate with team members to execute project plans effectively while maintaining a focus on safety protocols at all times.

Qualifications

- Proven experience in construction, restoration, or related fields with a strong understanding of building materials and site safety.
- Prior experience working with asbestos or hazardous materials is highly desirable; relevant certifications are a plus.
- Ability to operate hand tools, power tools, and specialized equipment safely and efficiently.
- Knowledge of cleaning techniques necessary for maintaining a hazard-free environment during and after projects.
- Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational skills for managing multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Physical ability to perform demanding tasks including lifting, bending, climbing ladders, and working in confined spaces.
- Commitment to following safety procedures diligently and maintaining a clean work environment.
