Supports the design and development of custom CNC automation equipment while learning machine design principles, mechanical systems, and manufacturing requirements under the guidance of senior engineers.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with development of mechanical designs and assemblies for automation equipment;
- Create 3D models and drawings using SolidWorks;
- Support preparation of fabrication and machining drawings;
- Assist with bill of materials (BOM) creation;
- Work with production teams to clarify drawings and design intent;
- Support engineering documentation and revision control.
