The Car Store on Main is seeking an experienced Automotive Detailer to join our established, family-run dealership in north Winnipeg. This is not a starting-from-scratch position. We’re looking for someone who understands what a properly finished vehicle should look like, takes pride in their work and is ready to let their abilities shine.

You’ll have the opportunity to work on an impressive and constantly changing selection of vehicles—from high-end luxury and performance models to trucks, SUVs and quality everyday vehicles. No two days or vehicles are exactly the same.

What You’ll Be Doing

- Complete thorough interior and exterior detailing to prepare vehicles for sale and delivery
- Wash, decontaminate, wax, polish and finish vehicle exteriors as required
- Vacuum, shampoo and extract carpets and upholstery
- Clean leather, vinyl, plastics, glass and other interior surfaces
- Perform polishing and paint enhancement according to your experience and skill level
- Identify and communicate cosmetic concerns or vehicle damage
- Safely move vehicles around the dealership and detailing areas
- Maintain clean, organized and properly stocked workspaces
- Care for detailing equipment, tools and products




- Work with the sales and management teams to ensure vehicles are prepared on schedule and presented to a high standard

Who We’re Looking For

We’re looking for someone who:

- Has previous professional automotive detailing experience
- Can step into the role with confidence while remaining open to learning and further training
- Is self-motivated and productive without needing constant supervision
- Works well as part of a team but also enjoys focused, independent work
- Takes genuine pride in the finished product
- Has strong attention to detail and notices the finishing touches others may miss
- Is dependable, organized and able to manage priorities
- Is physically capable of standing, bending, kneeling and performing detailing work throughout the day
- Holds a valid driver’s licence
- Can drive a manual-transmission vehicle, or is willing to learn—this is considered an asset

Pay: $20.00-$23.00 per hour
