Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Automotive Mechanic to join our team. The ideal candidate will have mechanical knowledge and experience working in an automotive repair shop. This position involves maintaining and repairing vehicles to ensure they operate efficiently and safely.

Duties

- Perform routine maintenance on vehicles, such as oil changes and tire rotations
- Diagnose and repair mechanical issues with vehicles
- Use hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment to complete repairs
- Assemble, disassemble, and reassemble vehicle components
- Welding tasks when necessary
- Follow manufacturer guidelines and schematics for repairs
- Conduct inspections to identify worn or damaged parts

Skills





- Prior experience as an Automotive Mechanic or similar role
- Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools
- Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physical tasks
- Solid understanding of vehicle mechanics and systems
- Familiarity with welding techniques is a plus

Job Type: Full-time Pay: $19.00-$25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 35.0 – 40.0 per week

Experience

- automotive technician: 1 year (preferred)

Licence/Certification:
- Driver's License (preferred)
- Journeyman (preferred)
