Join our busy automotive team as a Mechanic Helper or becoming an Apprentice with our shop.

this is an entry level position for Automotive Technician/helper. We will also offer you apprenticeship after you have passed the 3 months probation period

Responsibilities

- Support senior mechanics by preparing work areas and gathering necessary tools and parts for repairs
- Assist with vehicle inspections, diagnostics, and routine maintenance tasks such as oil changes and tire rotations
- Use hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment to perform basic repairs under supervision
- Follow schematics and technical manuals to understand repair procedures and assembly instructions
- Perform heavy lifting tasks safely when handling vehicle parts or equipment during repairs or maintenance
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace to ensure safety and efficiency on the shop floor
- Learn to read automotive schematics and diagrams to better understand vehicle systems and repairs

Skills





- Basic mechanical knowledge with a robust desire to learn more about automotive systems
- Experience working with hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment is a plus
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and effectively during repair tasks
- Familiarity with automotive repair processes, maintenance routines, and schematics is advantageous
- Excellent customer service skills to communicate effectively with clients when needed
- Knowledge of dealership or automotive shop environments is preferred but not required
- Strong work ethic with attention to detail and safety standards in all tasks

Pay: $17.75-$22.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40.0 per week
