Diamond Motors is looking for a flat rate Journeyman Technician to join our service department!
Responsibilities:
- Diagnose and repair used vehicles
- Knowledge of system components that will allow you to effectively diagnose issues
- Understanding of preventative maintenance that would add value for the customer when recommended
- Thoroughly inspect vehicles for any work that should be recommended to the customer
- Knowledge of use of an array of tools
- Understand and review work orders with the Service Manager
- Knowledge of electronic diagnostic tools
Qualifications:
- Journeyman Automotive Mechanic Certificate- Asset
- Completion of requisite post-secondary and training courses
- Strong work ethic and problem-solving skills
- Work with a high level of reliability and integrity
- Ability to meet physical demands of the job
- A valid driver’s license
