Responsibilities

- Perform comprehensive vehicle diagnostics and repairs using schematics, technical manuals, and your mechanical knowledge.
- Conduct routine maintenance tasks such as oil changes, tire rotations, brake inspections, and fluid replacements to keep vehicles running smoothly.
- Utilize hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment to assemble parts, repair components, and execute custom modifications when necessary.
- Identify and troubleshoot mechanical issues efficiently, ensuring repairs meet safety standards and manufacturer specifications.
- Assist with vehicle inspections for pre-purchase evaluations or safety compliance checks.
- Maintain detailed records of all repairs,



parts used, and service procedures performed for each vehicle.
- Support team efforts by lifting heavy parts safely and adhering to proper safety protocols during all maintenance activities.

Experience

- Proven mechanic experience with a strong background in automotive repair and maintenance.
- Dealership experience is highly preferred but not required; hands-on familiarity with various vehicle makes and models is essential.
- Skilled in reading schematics and technical manuals to accurately diagnose issues.
- Experience with welding, assembly work, and the use of both hand tools and power tools is advantageous.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently during repair procedures.
- Excellent customer service skills to communicate effectively with clients about repairs and maintenance needs.
- Knowledge of automotive systems including brakes, engines, transmissions, electrical components, and suspension systems.
