Cheema Auto Service & Collision Centre is looking for an experienced Mechanic to join our team. We are specifically seeking someone who is fully experienced in engine and transmission diagnostics, repairs, rebuilds, and replacements. The ideal candidate is professional, reliable, and committed to quality workmanship.

Responsibilities

- Diagnose and repair automobiles and motor vehicles
- Perform routine maintenance services
- Use diagnostic tools to identify vehicle issues
- Perform quality inspections on all repairs
- Install and repair liftgate hydraulics and air systems
- Diagnose and repair issues related to:
- Steering, electrical, cooling, lubrication, braking systems
- Drive trains, suspensions, power steering units
- Clutches, transmissions, and engine-related components
- Complete engine and transmission rebuilds and replacements
- Test vehicles to ensure repairs are completed properly
- Maintain accurate documentation for all repairs and parts used
- Keep work area clean, safe, and organized
- Provide direction to mechanic assistants when required
- Perform provincial safety inspections
- Support team members and assist with additional duties as needed

Qualifications

- Proven automotive repair experience in Canada




- Full expertise in engine and transmission repair/replacement (required)
- Strong diagnostic and mechanical troubleshooting skills
- Ability to follow instructions and work efficiently in a fast-paced workplace
- Knowledge of shop tools and equipment
- Ability to maintain accurate records
- Certification to perform provincial safety inspections (asset)
- Strong teamwork and leadership skills
