Hiring: Aviation Cybersecurity Engineering Skilled | Canada

Role: Aviation Cybersecurity Engineering Professional

Location: Dorval, QC, Canada – Hybrid

Currently 2 days/week onsite, moving toward 3 days/week

Select roles may be 100% onsite

Work Permit: client sponsors work permits for eligible candidates currently residing in Canada on a Study Permit or PGWP.

Key Responsibilities

- Define aircraft and system-level cybersecurity requirements.
- Review supplier system architectures and cybersecurity protection measures.
- Assess aircraft cybersecurity architecture, vulnerabilities, and associated risks.
- Support cybersecurity penetration testing on aircraft and system rigs.
- Lead cybersecurity incident investigations and resolution activities.
- Prepare/review design compliance reports and support Transport Canada compliance activities.
- Collaborate with Avionics, RMAS, Completions, AWOR, Customer Support, and other Bombardier teams.
- Participate in preliminary and critical system design reviews.
- Maintain and improve cybersecurity processes in alignment with regulatory requirements and industry best practices.
- Represent the organization at cybersecurity conferences and industry committees.




- Contribute to the evolution and roadmap of the Aircraft Cybersecurity (CYBR) domain.
- Mentor less experienced cybersecurity professionals.

Required Qualifications
- University degree in Software Engineering, IT, Computer Science, Electronics, Aerospace Engineering , or equivalent.
- 6+ years of technical engineering experience.
- At least 2 years of cybersecurity experience involving networks/systems.
- At least 2 years of aerospace experience .
- Knowledge of computer networks, electronics, operating systems, and software programming.
- Understanding of aircraft system integration and civil aircraft certification.
- Knowledge of IT and/or Aviation Information Security Management System principles.
- Familiarity with aviation cybersecurity standards and guidance, including:

- ED-202B / DO-326B
- ED-203A / DO-356A
- ED-204A / DO-355A
- ED-206 / DO-392
- CS 25.1319
- Solid communication, problem-solving, collaboration, and leadership skills.
- Strong English communication skills; functional French is desirable.
- Self-motivated, adaptable, proactive, and comfortable working independently.
