We are currently recruiting for a Full-time B-Pressure Welder at our head office in Red Deer, Alberta.

What will you do?

- Perform pressure welding on piping, fittings, and fabricated assemblies in accordance with approved welding procedures, drawings, and applicable codes.
- Use welding processes such as FCAW, GMAW, MCAW, SMAW, SAW, and core welding to fabricate and repair components.
- Read drawings, weld symbols, Bills of Materials, and other project documents to confirm material and fabrication requirements.
- Check materials, dimensions, joint preparation, and fit-up before welding.
- Complete pressure piping,



repair, and structural welding work to meet quality standards and production schedules.
- Inspect completed welds and assemblies, complete required welding records, and raise any quality or fabrication concerns.
- Operate and maintain welding and fabrication equipment safely, and keep your work area clean and organized.
- Share your knowledge with apprentices and less experience welders to support safe work and quality workmanship.

What do you need?

- Journeyperson Welder certification and a valid, active B-Pressure Certificate.
- Experience with pressure welding in a pressure piping, industrial fabrication, or manufacturing environment.
- Ability to read and apply welding procedures, engineering drawings, weld symbols, and fabrication documents.
- Skill in production welds that meet quality requirements and pass require inspections and testing.
- A strong commitment to protected work practices, including the proper use of PPE.
- The ability to stand for extended periods and frequently handle materials weighing up to 50lbs.

Monday to Friday; 8:00AM to 4:30PM

Overtime as production requires.
