Job Summary

We are seeking a reliable and experienced Cross Border Truck Drivers to join our transportation team For Canada-US. The ideal candidate will be responsible for safely operating commercial trucks to transport freight efficiently across various routes. This role requires a strong focus on safety, adherence to regulations, and excellent driving skills.

Candidates with experience in heavy equipment operation, automotive repair, and forklift operation will be highly valued. The position offers an opportunity to work in a agile environment with a focus on timely deliveries and customer satisfaction.

Duties

- Safely operate commercial trucks to transport freight to designated locations
- Load and unload freight using forklifts or other heavy equipment as needed
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance with regulations
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation
- Perform basic automotive repairs or troubleshooting when necessary
- Assist with the securement of freight to prevent damage during transit




- Communicate effectively with dispatchers and clients regarding delivery schedules and issues
- Follow all safety protocols and traffic laws during operations

Experience

- Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) with clean driving record
- Experience operating heavy equipment such as forklifts and other industrial machinery is preferred
- Prior experience in freight transportation or logistics is advantageous
- Knowledge of automotive repair basics is a plus
- Familiarity with safety regulations related to commercial driving and freight handling
- Ability to operate heavy equipment safely and efficiently in various conditions
