Duties

- Assist bakers with food preparation, including measuring ingredients and mixing batter or dough
- Decorate cakes and baked goods with precision and creativity to meet customer specifications
- Handle food safely by following proper hygiene and sanitation procedures
- Package baked items efficiently for display or takeout orders, ensuring freshness and presentation
- Maintain cleanliness of workstations, baking equipment, and storage areas throughout shifts




- Support the team in restocking supplies and organizing ingredients for smooth bakery operations
- Provide friendly, attentive customer service by answering questions about products and assisting with selections

Experience

- Previous experience in a restaurant or food service environment is preferred but not required; enthusiasm to learn is key
- Familiarity with food handling safety standards and kitchen procedures is advantageous
- Experience with cake decorating or baking techniques will be highly valued
- Robust communication skills and a positive attitude are essential for delivering excellent customer service
- Ability to stand for extended periods, lift moderate loads, and work efficiently in a busy setting
