For 30 years, Just Us! Coffee Roasters Co-op has been bringing people together over coffee while working to build a more fair and sustainable coffee industry. As a worker co-operative, we believe the people who work here should have a voice in shaping the business.

We’re looking for friendly, dependable people to join our café teams in Grand Pré and Wolfville. We especially need people with weekday availability. If you enjoy connecting with people, working as part of a team and creating a place where everyone feels welcome, we’d love to hear from you.

What you’ll do:

Make great drinks, welcome and serve customers, prepare and serve food, and help keep our cafés clean, comfortable and inviting. You’ll work alongside a supportive team while building your coffee knowledge and barista skills.

What you bring:

A friendly, welcoming approach and enjoyment of working with people

Reliability, a willingness to learn and a strong team mindset

Availability to work weekdays, with some weekend availability The ability to work on your feet for shifts of up to 8 hours The ability to reliably get to both our Wolfville and Grand Pré cafés

Residency in Nova Scotia and ability to communicate in English A note about Grand Pré: Public transportation options to our Grand Pré café are limited. You don’t need to own a car, but before applying, please make sure you have a reliable way to get to and from both café locations.

Coffee experience? Great. No coffee experience? That’s okay too.

Previous café experience and certifications such as Food Safety or WHMIS are assets, but they aren’t required.



We provide paid training and are happy to teach the technical skills to people who bring the right attitude.

There are also opportunities to learn, take on more responsibility and grow within our café team over time.
