Responsibilities

- Prepare and cook a variety of breakfast items with precision and consistency, including eggs, waffles, breakfast meats, and other specialty dishes

- Ensure all food is prepared according to recipes, quality standards, and safety guidelines

- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including proper storage of ingredients and utensils

- Assist in food service by plating dishes attractively and timely for guests or service staff

- Follow food safety protocols diligently, including proper handling, sanitation, and temperature control

- Support the team during busy hours by efficiently managing meal preparation and cooking tasks

- Monitor inventory levels of ingredients and notify management when supplies need replenishing

- Able to take orders and offer customer service, make sales and handle cash

Qualifications

- Proven experience in food preparation, cooking, or food service within a restaurant or hospitality setting





- Proven experience in baking from scratch will be consider a high value asset

- Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures

- Familiarity with serving techniques and meal presentation

- Ability to work quickly under pressure while maintaining high-quality standards

- Solid attention to detail in food preparation and cleanliness

- Previous kitchen experience in the food industry is preferred but not required; enthusiasm for learning is valued highly

- Excellent teamwork skills with a positive attitude toward supporting colleagues during busy shifts
