Solution Development / Business Analyst

We are looking for an experienced Solution Development / Business Analyst with strong experience in UX, digital solution design, Agile/Scrum, and user-centred design to support the delivery of complex digital solutions.

Key Responsibilities

- Design and support online user experiences for complex digital products.
- Collaborate with Product Owners, UX Designers, Developers, and stakeholders within an Agile/Scrum environment .
- Translate business goals, user needs, and research into effective digital experiences.
- Support information architecture, navigation, taxonomy, interaction design, and responsive/mobile-first design .
- Conduct research, analyze requirements, and provide options and recommendations for solution improvements.
- Facilitate workshops, stakeholder discussions, presentations, and design activities.
- Prioritize change requests and work with delivery teams to determine appropriate solutions.
- Apply usability, accessibility, and Ontario digital government standards throughout the design process.

Must-Have Skills
- Significant experience with UX/UI and digital solution design .




- Experience working with Agile/Scrum cross-functional teams .
- Robust knowledge of user-centred design, interaction design, usability, and information architecture .
- Experience with responsive/mobile-first web design and content layout/typography.
- Knowledge of WCAG 2.0/2.1 Level A & AA accessibility standards.
- Knowledge of the Ontario Digital Service Standard .
- Experience with design tools such as Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Balsamiq, or InVision .
- Experience with JIRA, Azure DevOps, or Pivotal Tracker .
- Knowledge of collaboration tools such as Miro, Confluence, Trello, Teams, Slack, Zoom, and Microsoft 365 .
- Basic knowledge of Microsoft Azure .
- Strong communication, facilitation, analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder-management skills.

Nice to Have
- Scrum Master experience.
- Experience working on Ontario/public-sector digital projects .
- Experience applying design thinking and user research to improve digital products.
