ALM Corp is a full-service and white label digital marketing company located in Toronto, Canada and servicing clients all over North America. Our website is www.almcorp.com.
ALM delivers strategy, SEO (local through enterprise, plus AI search and GEO), paid media across Google, Meta and a dozen other platforms, analytics, creative, and WordPress and Shopify development. The role is remote and you can be located anywhere.
Role overview
You will own ALM's indirect revenue: finding, signing and growing partners who put ALM's services in front of many end clients at once. This is a hunter role with a strong farming component. You will run the full cycle from prospecting to contract, then work with Partner Success and Delivery to launch each partner and grow monthly recurring revenue (MRR) through their book of clients.
You will sell two partnership models:
- White label reselling — partners sell SEO, PPC and web development under their own brand at their own price; ALM fulfils behind the scenes and bills the partner wholesale.
- Preferred vendor / marketplace — ALM is listed as an approved digital marketing provider in a franchisor's vendor program, an association's member-benefits marketplace or a platform's partner directory, and sells directly to referred members, often with a revenue share or member discount.
Key responsibilities
Pipeline and prospecting
- Build a target list of franchise brands, digital agencies, and networks (associations, buying groups, SaaS platforms with partner marketplaces) and keep it current in the CRM.
- Generate your own pipeline through outbound email, LinkedIn, phone, referrals and events; aim for most new partners to come from self-sourced leads.
- Identify decision makers: franchise CMOs and marketing directors,
agency owners and heads of operations, and partnership or member-benefits leads at networks.
Selling and closing
- Run discovery to understand each partner's client base, margins, fulfilment gaps and brand standards.
- Build tailored proposals: wholesale price sheets, service packages (e.g., local SEO for multi-location franchises, Google Ads management tiers, website builds), revenue-share models and SLAs.
- Respond to franchise vendor applications and RFPs, including compliance, insurance and data-security questionnaires.
- Negotiate and close reseller agreements, preferred-vendor contracts and marketplace listings with Legal and Finance.
Partner launch and growth
- Hand off each signed partner to Partner Success with a clear launch plan, and stay the senior relationship owner.
- Enable partners to sell: run training on ALM services, supply white label sales decks, audit templates and proposal kits, and join early sales calls with their clients.
- Hold quarterly business reviews to grow partner MRR, expand into more services and more franchise locations, and reduce churn.
- Co-plan campaigns with partners: webinars for franchisees, co-branded offers for association members, launch promotions in marketplaces.
Market feedback and internal collaboration
- Feed partner and market feedback to leadership on pricing, packaging and current services (e.g.,
AI search / GEO SEO demand).
- Work with Delivery (SEO, PPC, Web) to scope work accurately and protect margins and turnaround times.
- Work with Marketing on channel-specific content, case studies and events
- Keep accurate CRM records and deliver a reliable monthly and quarterly forecast.
Qualifications
Required
- 5+ years in B2B sales or business development, including 3+ years in channel, partner or alliance sales.
- Proven record selling digital marketing services (SEO, PPC, web development) or marketing technology to agencies, franchises or multi-location businesses.
- History of meeting or beating a quota for new partner revenue, with numbers you can walk us through.
- Solid working knowledge of SEO, Google Ads, Meta Ads and website development: enough to run discovery, spot opportunities in an account and speak credibly with agency owners.
- Clear understanding of white label and reseller economics: wholesale pricing, partner margins, revenue share and MRR.
- Strong negotiation, presentation and written skills, including proposals and RFP responses.
- Daily CRM discipline (HubSpot or Salesforce) and accurate forecasting.
- Self-starter comfortable building a channel with limited structure.
Preferred
- Existing network among franchisors, agency owners or association leaders.
- Experience with franchise vendor-approval processes or events such as IFA, Franchise Expo or agency-focused conferences.
- Background at a white label fulfilment provider, marketing SaaS company or multi-location marketing platform.
- Familiarity with AI search optimization (GEO, ChatGPT and Google AI Overviews visibility).
