Halifax Cabinetry is looking for an experienced, detail-oriented Cabinetmaker to join our small, quality-focused shop.

We build custom residential cabinetry and millwork, and we’re looking for someone with 3+ years of professional cabinetmaking experience who can contribute confidently in a small-shop environment.

We care about doing things properly. Craftsmanship, attention to detail and taking pride in your work are at the centre of what we do.

The Role

- Build custom cabinetry and millwork, mostly residential
- Read and work from shop drawings
- Operate shop equipment, including a horizontal panel saw
- Cut, assemble and prepare cabinetry for finishing
- Use hand tools and pneumatic equipment
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues during production
- Assist with cabinet installations on residential job sites
- Manage your own work and maintain an organized workspace
- Work independently while contributing to a small team

Who You Are

- You have 3+ years of professional cabinetmaking experience
- You take pride in your work and care about craftsmanship above all else
- You have solid attention to detail and consistently produce accurate work
- You understand cabinet construction and can confidently work from drawings




- You can work independently without needing to be micromanaged
- You’re organized and take pride in keeping your workspace clean and efficient
- You’re comfortable using shop equipment, hand tools and pneumatic tools
- You can identify problems and find practical solutions
- You’re reliable, accountable and take ownership of your work
- You work well as part of a small team
- A valid driver’s licence is an asset

We’re a small shop focused on building high-quality custom cabinetry for residential clients. Every project is different, and we take the time to do the work properly.

We’re looking for someone who wants to be part of a team that values quality, craftsmanship and service—and who takes genuine pride in the finished product.

Schedule: Monday–Thursday, 7:00 AM–4:00 PM; Friday, 7:00 AM–12:00 PM

Location: Lucasville, NS

Compensation: Based on experience and skill level
