We are seeking a skilled and experienced Cabinet Maker or Apprentice to join our team.

Duties:

- Ability to work safely and independently
- Ability to work and communicate well with fellow employers
- Sand surfaces in preparation for veneers, laminates, stain or polish
- Laminating of plastic laminates, veneers
- Integrating of millwork with stone, glass, metal and fabric as specified
- Assembly of millwork components into finished products
- Maintain and report details of work and hours for work orders / projects

Requirements:

- Cabinetmaker Trade Certification or currently working towards one
- Must be able to communicate well in English.
- Able to read and interpret shop drawings
- Operation of woodworking machines, power saws, jointers, planners and shapers
- Use of hand tools to cut, shape and form parts and components




- Trim joints and fit parts and subassemblies together to form complete units using glue, clamps and reinforce joints using nails, screws and or other fasteners, Prepare and apply solid surfaces, veneers and laminates
- Design and make templates, jigs and fixtures for production
