A career as a Cash Management Service Officer at
National Bank means joining a client-focused team responsible for supporting treasury and cash management clients through exceptional service delivery,
operational support, and issue resolution.
Based in either Vancouver, British Columbia, or
Calgary, Alberta, and reporting to the Managing Director & Head, National
Client Group, Western Canada, you will serve as a key partner to Treasury
Managers, Relationship Managers, clients, and internal banking partners by managing day-to-day treasury service activities, supporting implementations,
resolving client inquiries, and ensuring the smooth operation of cash management products and services.
In this role, you will act as a trusted point of contact for clients and internal partners, helping coordinate onboarding activities, manage service requests, support cash management solutions,
investigate issues, track client documentation, monitor billing and reporting activities, and provide operational support that contributes to a best-in-class client experience.
Working hours are dictated by client and business needs in a hybrid work environment that combines office and remote work. Occasional travel for team meetings may be required.
Your Job:
- Serve as a primary point of contact for day-to-day client inquiries related to cash management products, services, platforms, and treasury solutions.
- Triage client service requests and issues, coordinating with internal support teams, operations, implementation specialists, and technology partners to facilitate timely resolution.
- Provide ongoing support to Treasury Managers and Relationship Managers by ensuring client requests, follow-ups, documentation, and service needs are addressed efficiently.
- Support client onboarding,
implementation activities, account maintenance requests, product setup,
and documentation requirements.
- Monitor outstanding service requests, onboarding activities, and operational issues to ensure timely follow-up and resolution.
- Prepare and maintain client documentation, service records, implementation tracking tools, operating procedures, and portfolio information.
- Analyze billing information, service usage, fees, and account structures to support accurate client servicing and treasury revenue management.
- Create and maintain client schematics, account structures, workflow diagrams, and treasury service documentation.
- Develop a strong understanding of National Bank's treasury and cash management platforms, products,
and operational processes to effectively support clients and internal partners.
- Coordinate with internal business partners to support product implementations,
account maintenance, documentation collection, compliance requirements,
and operational reviews.
- Maintain accurate client, deposit, service, and portfolio information to support reporting, tracking, and team effectiveness.
- Assist with portfolio administration, reporting, data management, and service-related follow-up activities.
- Identify opportunities to improve service delivery, operational efficiency, client experience, and internal processes.
- Participate in team initiatives, operational improvement projects, and special assignments supporting the continued growth of National Client Group.

Basic
Requirements:
- College diploma, Business Administration certificate, or equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.
- Minimum three years of experience in a client-facing cash management, treasury service, commercial banking support, client service, or banking operations role.
- Experience supporting cash management products, treasury management services,
commercial banking clients, or related operational functions.
- Strong understanding of banking operations, client support processes, account administration, and service delivery principles.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize multiple requests and manage competing deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Detail-oriented with the ability to manage documentation, reporting, and operational processes accurately.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to investigate issues,
identify root causes, and coordinate effective solutions.
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and other business productivity tools.
- Experience working with banking platforms, treasury applications, or client servicing systems.
- Demonstrated interest in leveraging technology, automation, data analytics, and
AI-enabled tools to improve efficiency and client service delivery.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build effective relationships with clients, operations teams, and internal business partners.
- Ability to provide professional, responsive, and client-focused service in a high-volume environment.
