Role Description The Chauffeur-livreur (Class 5) / Delivery Driver (Class 5) / Forklift Operator is a full-time, in office role based in Montréal-Est, QC. The person in this role will handle daily deliveries of lubricant products to customers, load and unload vehicles using forklifts and other material-handling equipment, and ensure accurate, safe, and timely transport of goods.

Responsibilities include preparing orders, verifying documentation, maintaining vehicle cleanliness, and complying with safety and traffic regulations. The role also involves basic warehouse tasks such as organizing inventory,



assisting with stock rotation, and supporting colleagues during peak periods. The individual will interact directly with customers during deliveries, providing professional service and representing Distribution IDC in a courteous, reliable manner.

Qualifications

- Strong customer service skills and the ability to communicate professionally with clients and colleagues.
- Proficiency in forklift operation and safe material handling in a warehouse environment.
- Experience in training or mentoring team members on procedures and safety best practices.
- Background in sales or account support, ideally within distribution, automotive, or industrial sectors.
- Experience in food & beverage or other logistics-intensive environments considered an asset.
- Valid Class 5 driver’s license with a clean driving record.
- Ability to perform manual handling tasks, including lifting, loading, and unloading goods.
- Attention to detail for order accuracy, documentation, and inventory handling.
- Basic French and English communication skills for daily operations in Montréal-Est.
- Reliability, punctuality, and the ability to work on-site full time in a warehouse and delivery setting.
