Job Summary A downtown food establishment is looking for an experienced and entrepreneurial food professional to take on its off-site prep kitchen and food program.

In addition to developing and preparing our menu, the right person would have the opportunity to use the kitchen to build their own catering, prepared-food or food-supply business serving other clients.

Responsibilities

- Develop cutting-edge menus that showcase culinary expertise and meet customer preferences
- Supervise daily kitchen operations, ensuring efficient workflow and high-quality food production
- Lead, train, and manage kitchen staff to foster a collaborative and motivated team environment
- Oversee food handling procedures to maintain strict adherence to safety and sanitation standards
- Manage all aspects of restaurant or food service operations, including inventory control, ordering supplies,



and maintaining costs
- Ensure exceptional customer service by supporting serving staff and maintaining a welcoming atmosphere
- Implement food safety protocols in compliance with local health regulations and industry best practices

Requirements

- Proven supervising experience within a restaurant or food service environment
- Extensive food preparation and cooking skills across diverse cuisines
- Strong background in restaurant management, including team management and leadership capabilities
- Hands-on experience with food handling, safety standards, and sanitation procedures
- Demonstrated success in the food industry with a focus on hospitality excellence
- Ability to manage multiple responsibilities efficiently in a fast-paced setting
- Excellent communication skills for team coordination and customer engagement

Pay: $16.35-$30.00 per hour Expected hours: 30.0 – 40.0 per week
