About the Role

Our client is seeking an innovative Chemical Engineer to join their Research and Development team in Kimberley . This hybrid position focuses on developing new chemical products and improving existing manufacturing processes through applied research and experimentation. You will work closely with a multidisciplinary team of scientists and engineers to bring novel ideas from conception to implementation. Key Responsibilities

- Conduct research and experimental work to develop new chemical formulations and processes.
- Design and execute pilot-scale trials to validate laboratory findings and assess scalability.
- Analyze process data, identify key variables, and optimize parameters for improved performance and efficiency.
- Collaborate with chemists and engineers to translate research results into viable commercial applications.




- Prepare detailed technical reports, documentation, and presentations on research findings.
- Stay updated on the latest advancements in chemical engineering and materials science.

Requirements

- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Chemical Engineering.
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in chemical R&D; or process development.
- Strong understanding of chemical kinetics, reaction engineering, and separation processes.
- Hands-on experience with laboratory equipment and pilot plant operations.
- Ability to work effectively in a hybrid setting, with excellent remote collaboration skills.
- Proficiency in statistical analysis and process modeling tools is an advantage.
