You will have a strong team behind you. Our Directors work closely with our Executive Director, HR team, enrollment team and administrative team, as well as our Pedagogistas who provide leadership and support for programming and pedagogical practice.

Enrollment, invoicing, payroll and many other administrative functions are handled centrally, giving our Directors more time to be present with educators and families, develop their teams and lead their centres.

About the Role

As Centre Director, you will lead the day-to-day culture and operations of your centre.

You will

- Build strong relationships with educators and families
- Lead, coach and develop your team
- Create a positive,



collaborative and accountable workplace culture
- Oversee staffing, scheduling and daily centre operations
- Maintain high standards for health, safety and professionalism
- Ensure Alberta Child Care Licensing requirements are consistently met
- Support recruitment, onboarding, retention and performance management
- Work closely with our Pedagogistas to support strong programming and pedagogical practice
- Collaborate with our broader leadership team to continually strengthen the centre

What We’re Looking For

- Alberta Level 3 Early Childhood Educator Certification
- At least 1 year of leadership experience in a licensed child care setting
- Strong understanding of Alberta Child Care Licensing requirements
- Experience leading, coaching and supporting a team Strong communication and relationship-building skills
- Level C First Aid & CPR
- Vulnerable Sector Check or ability to obtain one

Previous Director experience and experience with Reggio Emilia-inspired practice, emergent curriculum or nature-based learning are considered assets.
