Senior Cisco Secure Access / Secure DNS Consultant

Location-Brampton, ON Hybrid (2 3 Days WFO)

Duration-6 12 Months

Rate: CAD 50 - 55/hr

Key Responsibilities:

- Review customer architecture, security, and operational requirements

- Validate solution design and deployment approaches

- Configure Cisco Secure Access / Cisco Umbrella, Secure DNS policies, and security profiles

- Implement and manage DNS security configurations and policy enforcement rules

- Lead endpoint onboarding and security policy rollout activities

- Troubleshoot security, policy, connectivity, and DNS-related issues

- Support functional validation and User Acceptance Testing (UAT)

- Provide operational readiness guidance and knowledge transfer

- Support post-deployment stabilization and hypercare activities

- Develop and maintain implementation, configuration, and operational documentation

Essential Skills:





- 5+ years of network security implementation experience

- Hands-on experience with Cisco Secure Access / Cisco Umbrella

- Strong experience with Secure DNS and DNS Security

- Experience with Secure Service Edge (SSE) and Zero Trust Security

- Robust understanding of DNS protocols and architecture

- Strong enterprise networking knowledge

- Experience with TCP/IP, DHCP, VPNs, and Proxies

- Strong understanding of security policy design and enforcement

- Experience supporting enterprise deployments and production rollouts

- Excellent troubleshooting and stakeholder communication skills

Preferred Certifications:

- Cisco Certified Specialist Security

- CCNP Security

- Cisco Umbrella / Secure Access certifications
