Duties

- Perform comprehensive cleaning duties in designated areas, including sweeping, mopping, dusting, vacuuming, and disinfecting surfaces.
- Maintain cleanliness of restrooms by sanitizing fixtures, and ensuring hygiene standards are met.
- Handle trash removal and recycling processes efficiently to keep spaces tidy and organized.
- Follow established cleaning schedules and procedures to ensure all areas are consistently maintained to high standards.
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards promptly to ensure a safe working workplace.
- Adhere to health and safety regulations, including proper use of cleaning chemicals and personal protective equipment.

Qualifications

- Prior custodial or cleaning experience in a commercial setting is highly preferred.




- Strong knowledge of cleaning techniques, tools, and safety protocols (WHMIS)
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while maintaining attention to detail.
- Excellent time management skills to complete assigned tasks efficiently within scheduled hours.
- Good physical stamina to perform repetitive cleaning tasks that require standing, bending, lifting, and moving equipment.
- Reliable with a positive attitude and a commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standards.
